Welcome to Upward at Trinity Baptist Church
Upward is a fun, reliable, passionate and encouraging sports experience for boys and girls, in K5 through sixth grade. Upward provides first class, organized and detailed sports programming in basketball and cheerleading at Trinity Baptist Church. Unique aspects of Upward include an evaluation system that promotes equal and competitive teams as well as a substitution system which allows for equal playing time for all participants. Through Upward, children are exposed to quality coaching and sport development. Upward emphasizes character and integrity instead of a “win at all costs” mentality associated with today’s sports world.
Upward Basketball and Cheerleading at Trinity Baptist Church began in the fall of 2004. The program is lead by Rev. Spencer Good and a highly dedicated Upward Lead Team. Registration for the 2012-2013 season is closed. We anticipate a wonderful season of basketball and cheerleading at Trinity. Please mark your calendar for August 2013 to insure your enrollment for our next Upward season.

Upward Celebration Night
Our End of Season Celebration Night is planned for Tuesday, February 26 in the Trinity Baptist Church Sanctuary. All players, cherrleaders, parents and families are encouraged to attend.
Players and Cheer Teams are asked to wear their game day attire for Celebration Night. All players need to be at the Church by 5:45pm. The show will begin promptly at 6:00pm. Please use the Sanctuary entrance on Celebration Night, not the ROC entrance. From there, you will be instructed to your team's assigned room.
Teams will meet in individually assigned rooms throughout the church and will enter the Sanctuary together as a team. All teams will sit with their teammates and coaches for the duration of the performance.
Celebration Night is just that, a celebration of our wonderful Upward Season. The performance and entertainment is geared for our children. Parents and families will be entertained by the excellent talent we have booked for this year's event. Please plan to attend with your child.
We should conclude the performance between 7:00 and 7:15, all of the teams will return to the same rooms they met upon arrival. Parents can pick up their children from those rooms.
Please take time to thank your coaches and other families that were involved in the season. Most of all, enjoy the show!
Upward Summer Camps
Registration will open for Summer Camp on Saturday, February 23. We will have a Registration table for you throughout the Upward Game Day on Feb 23.
Upward camp is a wonderful time for children to learn more about God and to focus on the fundamental skills of basketball. The camp will include skill development, devotions and scrimmages.
The camp will be led by Upward coaches and volunteer staff. The staff will always be encouraging, reminding each camper that “Every Child is a Winner!”
Picture Day Information
Dear Upward Families,
Thank you for participating in picture day! We had a great time!
Pictures will be mailed directly to the address that you have written on your order envelope. You should receive pictures in about 15-20 business days from the date pictures were taken.
If there are any questions at all with regard to pictures and your order. Please direct all calls to our customer service number, 1-800-869-9515. You will be put in touch with a customer representative. If you do not reach a representative, please leave a message and someone will return your call within a 24 hour time period.
If you would like to order pictures after the fact. You can also do so by calling the customer service number.
When you receive pictures, you will also receive a reorder form if you wish to order more.
